The group employs a variety of ways for the members to get to know each other so that when the opportunity arises, they are comfortable with referring other member businesses. Among them are:
Weekly Meetings
We meet each Wednesday morning at 7:30 am at the IHOP in Sanford Florida. The first 15 minutes is set aside to network and get acquainted. After that the meeting officially begins and each member is allotted 1 minute to describe their business and what type of leads will help them.
Each week one business will be highlighted and allowed to make a 10 minute presentation to the group. This gives you an opportunity to expand upon your business and give the other members a better chance to know and understand your company. The better the members know you and your company, the easier it is for them to remember and recommend you to their customers.
When the weekly presentation is completed, the members have an opportunity pass along any leads they have to other members.
After Hours
We also try to have periodic "after hours" get togethers. This provides a chance to get to know each other in an informal and more personal setting. As with the weekly meeting, it helps to be more comfortable with each other making it easier to recommend your services.
Specialty Parties
There will also be "Special Occasions" such as a party around the Christmas holidays. Again it is easier to recommend someone you know and can trust to treat your customers well.
